Initially named as Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain College (SBMJC), Jain (Deemed to be) University was founded in 1990. According to NIRF 2022, Jain University (JU) is ranked 79th among universities and 115th among engineering schools. Additionally, it has a CGPA of 3.71 and is regarded as an A++ institute by NAAC.
