Coal India Limited accepts Online/Distance, Correspondence Degree

Recently CIL Board in their 454 Meeting held on 28 June 2023 after the meeting the board announce that an Online/Distance course or any part-time course degree is valid.

It is incorporated as Coal Mines Authority Limited, a government-limited corporation. Its name was changed to "Coal India Limited" on October 15, 1975, in accordance with a shareholder decision and Ministry of Law, Justice, and Company Affairs approval, and on June 14, 1973, the Companies Act, 1956, as amended. Following the name change on October 21, 1975, it was issued a new certificate of incorporation by the West Bengal Registrar of Companies. After that, the Company was transformed into a public limited company with effect from February 24, 2010, in accordance with a resolution adopted by the shareholders on February 16, 2010, and with the Ministry of Coal's permission.

The GoI owns 100 percent of the business, which was founded in 1973. Seven of its fully-owned subsidiaries in India are principally responsible for the company's coal production operations. A further totally owned subsidiary, CMPDIL, performs exploratory tasks for its subsidiaries and offers technical and consulting services for its operations as well as to external clients for coal exploration, mining, and associated tasks.  Also Read- B.Tech WILP: A Dynamic Path to Engineering

Recently CIL Board in their 454 Meeting held on 28 June 2023 after the meeting the board announce that an Online/Distance course or any part-time course degree is valid. The company is also recruiting in MTs or Non-Technical Staff and HR provided the qualification is recognized for employment in the Central Government of INDIA.

In Personnel & HR Discipline, the minimum eligible qualification will remain unchanged Graduate with at least 2 years of full-time Post Graduate Degree/PG Diploma/Post Graduate Program in Management with specialization in HR/Industrial Relations/Personnel Management or MHROD or MBA or Master of Social Work with specialization in HR(Major) from recognized Indian University/institute with minimum 60% marks.
